Vaccination Certificate Merge Fields
Vac Done:
Merges the date of the vaccination. Usually today’s date.
Vac Type:
Type of Reminder. E.g. Vaccinations or Recall
Vac Used
- From billing, if the item the certificate is on also has a reminder then the item name is merged.
- From Billing if the item the certificate is on does not have a reminder then the name of the component added last will be merged.
Vac Drug Done List:
Merges a list of all drugs administered in a Vaccination Complex Product.
Vac Srv Done List:
Merges the Master name of a Vaccination Complex Product if the Certificate and Reminder are both on the Master Item.
Product Name:
Merges the name of the product that the certificate is attached to.
Vac Due List:
Prints all due reminders for that animal in the format “Due Date, Reminder Name” with each reminder on a new line
E.g. 06/01/2015 Cat Vac 2
06/11/2015 Cat Vac 1
Next Vac Type:
- If NOT printed from a bill it will print the name of the next vaccination due.
- If the certificate is printed via being attached to an item, that also has a reminder, that was added to a bill, then the name of the next reminder of the same type as the reminder on the item will be printed (this will usually just be the due date of the reminder being added).
- If the certificate is printed via being attached to an item, that does not have a reminder that was added to a bill then the name of the next reminder due is printed.
Vac Due on:
- If NOT printed from a bill it will print the date of the next vaccination due.
- If the certificate is printed via being attached to an item that also has a reminder that was added to a bill then the name of the next reminder of the same type as the reminder on the item will be printed (this will usually just be the due date of the reminder being added).
- If the certificate is printed via being attached to an item, that does not have a reminder that was added to a bill then the name of the next reminder due is printed.
Examples for Next Vac Type and Vac Due On.
EXAMPLE #1
- An animal already has two reminders on it record called “Cat Vac 1” due on the “1/1/2015” and “Cat Vac 2” and is due on “1/6/2015”
- If a certificate is printed from the animal record or diary with mail merge variables for “Next Vac Type” and “Vac Due On” they will be populated with “Cat Vac 1” and “1/1/2015” as that is the next reminder.
EXAMPLE #2
- An animal already has a reminder on it record called “Cat Vac 1” due on the “1/1/2015”
- A new bill is started
- An item is added to the bill where the item has both a certificate as well as a reminder attached.
- The new reminder is called “Cat Vac 2” and is due on “1/6/2016”
- When the certificate prints mail merge variables for “Next Vac Type” and “Vac Due On” will be populated with “Cat Vac 2” and “1/6/2016”. This is because it is looking for the next vaccination due matches the reminder on the product, even though it is actually due after “Cat Vac 1”.
EXAMPLE #3
- An animal already has a reminder on it record called “Cat Vac 1” due on the “1/1/2015”
- A new bill is started
- An Vaccination Complex Product is added to the bill where the certificate is on the master item but the Reminder is on the component.
- The new reminder is called “Cat Vac 2” and is due on “1/6/2015”
- When the certificate prints mail merge variables for “Next Vac Type” and “Vac Due On” will be populated with “Cat Vac 1” and “1/1/2015”. This is because the certificate and reminder are on different items as opposed to EXAMPLE #2.
