For multi-branch clinics with idexx the lab station needs to be set with an integration name so Vetlink can distinguish which machine belongs to which branch. In the labstation you can go to Setting -> Practise Management tab -> Network/configure -> Check Integration Name In Vetlink to see what integration names have been assigned per branch go to d:\vl2\data\hstimp.ini Integration name is case sensitive and has to be unique for each branch at the clinic. For single branch, if integration name is IVLS, the server name can just = blank in Hstimp.ini If port forwarding and firewall are all open you can check what integration name is being used by using the BkgHstTest.exe in M:\Support\Technical Manuals Support\Idexx Test App To use Copy BkgHstTest.exe to d:\cflapps (make sure gds32.dll in the folder) on clinic server. Stop cfl services Open BkgHstTest.exe and click Ok to error Click Test Idexx Click Register then Start Wait for a couple minutes to see if anything connects If something connects it will tell you the integration name. Once done click stop and unregister then close app Turn CFL services back on.
