Connect / reconnect xero if integration has failed.

Connect to your Xero Organisation
You will need your Vetlink organisation API key, please contact Vetlink Support to obtain this.
- In vetlink go to Options | Setu | Finance | 5: Accounting
- Log in with ID and password.
- Click the “Setup” button located to the left of the Software Name field
- In the Xero Setup form enter you the API key provided by Vetlink support
- You will need to copy the content of the OAuth 2.0 redirection URI field to your clipboard
- Click the Xero icon to open the Xero website
- Enter your Xero credentials and login
- You will need to create a new connected app, click the “New app“ button
- Complete the Add new app form. You can use “Vetlink” as the App name.
- OAuth 2.0 grant type should be set to “Auth Code Web App”.
- Paste the URL copied previously into the “Company or application URL”, and “OAuth 2.0 redirect URI” fields.
- Check the agreement to terms and Conditions check box then click the “Create app” button.
- Once directed to the App details form, click “Generate a secret”.
- Now copy the Client id provided int your clipboard. You use the “Copy” button located next to the client id to do this.
- Paste this into the “Xero Client id” field in Vetlink Setup, use the paste clipboard shortcut keys Ctrl+V.
- In Xero Website, Copy the Client Secret into your clipboard using the “Copy” button.
- Paste this into the “Xero Xero Client Secret” field in Vetlink Setup, use the paste clipboard shortcut keys Ctrl+V.
- In the Xero Website Click Save to finish.
- Close the website and return to Vetlink Setup.
- Click Authorize, select the organisation to connect to from the drop down list then click “Allow Access”.
- Once connected successfully the message below is displayed.
- Return to Vetlink setup to continue.
- Click Fetch Organisations, select the Xero organisation you want to connect to. Then click Save.
- You are now connected!!
