We now recommend the Zebra ZD421 label printer (thermal + ethernet version)
Zebra LP2824, LP2844 and GK420d are printer previously recommended that are now out of production.
Dymo Label Writer 450 can also be used.
Dymo is a USB printer so if used with AWS / cloud server they will need to have printer prompt enabled.

Dymo will not work with an apple mac setup on the cloud.
For ZD421;
- use the 203dpi ZPL driver
- the zebra printer have a sensor which detects if label has gaps or a black line. (for sensing where label ends).
Moved to left looks for black lines on label. Whereas moving to centre checks for gaps.
If labels are getting feed through printer and not stopping, it could be because of the sensor position.
