As a temporary measure to print from home you can enable a printer prompt to appear for everything that is printed so you can choose a printer or PDF printer.
Note: That this will change for everyone on the same profile. Contact the helpdesk to create a new profile.
This is done from by;
- Enabling printer prompt in VetlinkPRO
- Go to
- v6: Options -> Setup -> Misc -> 1: General tab
- v6: Options -> Setup -> Printer -> Print Options tab
- tick Always prompt for printer selection & Remember Last Printer
- Exit and Save setup.
- Go to
- Sign off remote session by Clicking red Log off button on desktop.
- Configure RDS shortcut to pass your printers to the remote session.
- Right click your remote access icon and select edit
- Go to Local resources tab
- Tick printers
- Go back to general tab and save.
- Try connect again and print.
- Now whenever you print a print dialog will pop up and you can select your printer from the list to print to.
